Uber PTA's Seem Poised to Take Over The Schools

I thought about sharing this New York Times story with my pals at the PTSA board at my daughter's school.

But then I thought not. It might give some of the moms some ideas I'd rather avoid. Gads! It looks like many moms, and dads in a few cases, are taking all their pent up energies from the workaday world and transferring them to principals, schools boards and teachers.

Seems like some good is accomplished by moms willing to fund raise to the tune of tens of thousands, but when you have a bunch of parents only speaking to the reporter off the record, for fear of retaliation, it makes me think that enough is enough. It's hard to tell you kid to stand up to bullies in the hallway, when in fact, you're afraid of a bully running the pta.
