State Board Decision on Third Year of Math Postponed until July

Though my sources were conflicted for awhile, I just confirmed with State Board of Education Policy Director (and all-around ed guru) Kathe Taylor that the State Board will be making their decision on the content of the third year of high school math at their meeting in July, not May.

The change allows more time for public comment on the new math rule in May, but the final adoption of the new rule will be in July. So open those Outlook Calendars now and take note!
