Just a reminder to all Seattle-area ed folks: OSPI is
holding a K-12 Math Forum tonight, from 6-8 p.m. at the Roosevelt High School Library. This is
your chance to hear more about the planned changes in Washington
math education and what the revised math standards
mean for local students and schools.
Washington Supt. Terry Bergeson and Carla Santorno, Chief
Academic Officer for Seattle Public Schools, will be on hand to share their
perspectives with a panel of educators and business and community leaders.
This is right in my neck of the woods (U-District
represent!), so I’ll be there at 6 p.m. and hope to see you
there as well.
