...with math that is. As we continue to scream "math and science matters!" at the top of our lungs to folks in Washington state who haven't gotten the message yet, more complexities surface with those who've known it all along.
They call it "math wars" and Washingtonians aren't the only ones fighting it. As our revised math standards (soon to be presented to the state Legislature in a couple of weeks) are both praised and criticized, I suppose we can at least take comfort in knowing that we're not alone in our struggles.
