I'm not sure what I expected when I punched into the Girls Go Tech Web site, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It talks to girls my daughter's age (13) about the importance of math and science. It stresses the careers that are open to girls if they just realize these subjects are interesting and fun. It's a site run by the Girl Scouts, and I think that some of the ed Web sites here, who are trying to reach out to girls and ethnic students on these topics,  could learn a thing or two from it. Check it out.
